Madisound has been providing speaker parts and design assistance for speaker manufacturers and autosound installers since the '70's.

About half of all the speakers we sell are resold. If you are a manufacturer or installer please ask about dealer pricing. For the most part our dealer pricing is based on your overall sales volume, but even if you don't have dealer status with Madisound we can usually provide a price break for anything purchased in lots of 10 pieces or more.

Leap Crossover Design

We are glad to provide cabinet and crossover design using the Leap system, for a moderate fee. You pay once for the design, then it is yours to do as you please. Read more about custom crossover designs.

Retrofits

Madisound receives many requests for replacement drivers for older systems, where manufacturer replacements are no longer available. Read more about retrofits.

Speaker Repairs

If you want to repair your own speakers, Madisound can usually find a driver to replace a blown woofer, midrange or tweeter. Before you call us about replacement speakers please review the speaker repair checklist.

We have been selling speakers retail for almost 20 years now. While we have an extensive selection of drivers, we do not have cross referencing information from other manufacturers. We we do have is the experience needed match you up with an appropriate replacement driver from our stock.

Please understand that we deal with people at many different levels of knowledge. One quick note on vocabulary, we usually refer to an individual woofer or tweeter as a 'driver' and only use the term 'speaker' to refer to a whole speaker, woofer and tweeter in a cabinet.
